Hotel Havana
Living in Austin, we all know about Bunkhouse and the brilliant mind of Liz Lambert. Her hotels are small, funky, and just freakin’ cool. With just a 1.5 drive from Austin, we grabbed a snack at the hotel restaurant, Ocho, walked to the Alamo and had a drink at The Pearl, and wrapped up our stay with room service breakfast. Cool things to note about HH:
Havana was opened by a local grocer in 1914, with the vision to recreate the tropical allure of the Caribbean namesake.
Liz Lambert and team reopened the doors in 2010
The Hotel is listed under the National Register of Historic Places
