It all started with a Canon PowerShot on a summer vacation in Kentucky.

My parents let me borrow their camera, and somewhere between chasing sunsets and photographing everyday moments, I realized photography was more than a hobby—it was how I saw the world. I fell in love with documenting real life and preserving moments that could never be repeated.

That passion led me to become a staff photographer for the Kentucky Kernel, the University of Kentucky's student newspaper. Working as a photojournalist taught me something that still shapes my work today: I didn't just want to take beautiful photos—I wanted to tell stories.

Now, as an Austin wedding photographer, I bring that same documentary mindset to every wedding I photograph. No awkward posing, no pressure to perform—just honest, emotional moments as they naturally unfold.

My style blends photojournalism with an editorial eye, creating images that feel effortless, intentional, and unmistakably you. I want your gallery to feel less like a photoshoot and more like reliving one of the best days of your life.
